Why does my scalp ache?
If you are asking this question, then you need to check this post immediately, in it, I’m going to reveal to you the reasons why you have a painful scalp and what you need to do about it.
Trust me; my advice is going to work for you because I’m going to share with you the same things that have helped me in the past!
Indeed, I used to suffer from a very painful and itchy scalp for many years. At first, I didn’t know what was going on, I just thought that I wasn’t eating the right foods or that I was exposing myself to too much sunlight!
In fact, I was doing a very bad thing to my scalp; I was using terrible products on my hair!
Well, this is the first reason why your scalp aches: it’s because you are using dangerous chemicals!
You may not be aware of this, but most shampoos and hair products nowadays contain loads of chemicals that are very dangerous for your scalp, of course, when you use too much.
This is how most people will deal with their scalp and hair nowadays: they are going to shower almost every day while using lots of products and chemical compounds, even worse, they are going to expose their scalps to a lot of heat when styling their hair, which is just terrible because it’s going to deprive it of its amazing and very nutritious layer of fat which is extremely protective.
Needless to tell you that doing this over and over to your scalp is going to end up damaging it and making it very sensitive and extremely painful as well.
- The second reason is folliculitis.
You will have folliculitis when your hair follicles are inflamed and when you expose them to dangerous chemicals, heat treatments, and even worse, when you start scratching yourself a lot!
This is also another very important thing to do: avoid scratching your scalp when it aches, it’s the most rapid way to increase pain and to make your scalp even much more sensitive!
And now, let’s talk about the third reason, which is by far the worse in my opinion!
- You are probably suffering from fungal or bacterial problems.
When you have too many funguses or bacteria in your scalp, they are going to start proliferating all over and munching on your skin, in normal circumstances, bacteria and funguses are good for your scalp, they are going to get rid of dead skin, however, when there are too many on your scalp, they will turn against you and start causing troubles.
For example, they will start damaging your healthy skin cells and producing toxins which are going to wipe out the good bacteria in your scalp and cause more havoc!
My advice is to bring balance to scalp by using natural oils.
I’ve talked about this in many of my previous posts, just use the search form above, it will help you find the most important posts on how to use natural oils to get rid of your itchy and achy scalp.
- The fourth reason is having high blood pressure.
I’ve talked about this in many of my previous posts. You need to understand that if you have high blood pressure, your scalp is going to start feeling very sensitive and itchy, so, the best way for you to deal with this problem is to check with your doctor, he or she alone can give you the right medicines to bring your high blood pressure to normal levels again.
Please, if you have a question concerning your aching scalp, don’t hesitate to post it in the section below, I will be very glad to help you.
